Acetyl chloride is mainly used in the preparation and production of organic compound, dye and drugs.      As an important organic synthesis intermediate acetylation agent, acid chlorination is widely used in the production of pesticide, pharmaceuticals, new electroplating compexing agent and many other organic synthesis intermediates. Its major usage in the pharmaceutical field is as raw material of 2, 4 - dichloro - 5 - fluorine acetophenone (Ciprofloxacin intermediate) and ibuprofen, etc.
